Nesha

Owner / Licensee

BA (Psyc & Engl) MA (Psyc) MAPS, Diploma in Children's Services, PGC Couns. PGC Spec Ed. JP
Psychologist

Prior to entering the 'family business', Nesha worked as a Psychologist, Recruiter, Change Management Consultant, Project Manager and Corporate Trainer (amongst other things!). Nesha loves to learn, and is currently attempting to complete a Cert IV in Training- as well as a host of short courses and workshops, she strives to impart this love with her staff and all of our children.

She has two children, Dylan (5) and Olivia (4),  and is negotiating her way through single parenting.

She also runs Norwest Child Care Centre

 

 

Lorna

Owner / Licensee / Authorised Supervisor 

Lorna has worked in child care since 1999 and spent four years teaching before taking on the position of Director at Norwest Child Care Centre in 2003. She has a Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood. Lorna won the 2009 Australian Family Fisher Price Award for NSW Director of the Year.

Lorna loves her job and is really enjoying part time work and full time mothering!

In her spare time, Lorna loves to cook and travel to interesting places around the world. She lives with her husband of 8 years, Phil, her little boy, Connor and her dog, Bailey.   

 

Nicole

Director

Nicole has been working with children since 1998 here and in London. She has spent 8 years teaching and also spent another year organising and setting up playgroups and support groups for disadvantaged communities and families. She had a Diploma in Community Services (children’s services).

Nicole is loving the new challenges of the role while still enjoying the time she spends in the rooms with the children. In her spare time she enjoys gardening, going for long rides on the motorbike and pushbike.

She lives with her husband Dave of 6yrs and her two cats Harry and Charlie who are all mischevious!  

 

Kirsty
Educator - Waratahs and Acacias

Kirsty joined the Top Ryde team in November 2009 after over 12 years experience in early education, many of those spent working with Nesha and Lorna. She has a Diploma in Children's Services and plans to complete her Bachelor of Education in the near future.

Kirsty has a gorgeous son, Angus, who will be starting in the Lillipillies room mid year.

 
 

Mikhala

Lilli Pillies Room 

Mikhala began her career in early education in 2008 when she completed a traineeship at Norwest Child Care Center. She moved to Top Ryde in June of 2009 and has been enjoying working with the toodlers in the Lilli Pilli Room.

Mikhala is currently studying her diploma in Children's Services

In her spare time she enjoys cooking and going out to lunch with friends.

 

  

Dalia

Lilli Pillies Room

Dalia has been working with children since 2008. She is currently completing her Certificate III in Children's Services and is working in the Acacia Room with the three and four year olds. Dalia is a mother of two, and enjoyed being a mum so much that she was inspired to try working with children as a career. She loves doing a job she is passionate about.

When she's not a work, Dalia loves to swim, cook and spend time with family and friends.

 

 

Natalie

Assistant - Lilli Pillies

Natalie started her Traineeship with us in  April 2010. She is currently studying a Certificate III in Children's Services with plans to continue studying after that. Natalie was born in England and moved to Australia in 2000. In her spare time she enjoys cooking and going for walks.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Tom

Assistant - Acacias

Tom was born in Oxford in England and moved to Asutralia with his parents and three siblings when he was quite young. Tom started at Top Ryde Early Learning in August 2010. He has a BA in Arts and is currently studying his Certificate III in Chilren's Services. He has experience with before and after school care and has now decided to pursue a carerr in early childhood. In his spare time he enoys playing soccer and creating pieces of modern art.

 

 

   

 Kathy 
 Cook

Kathy has over 14 years experience in the food industry, including a period of time spent managing the family cafe. She joined the Top Ryde team in January 2010 and works 4 days a week in the kitchen.
